*Anthozoa v. Hydrozoa:
-Anthozoan polyps differ from hydrozoans because:
(1) the mouth of the Anthozoan leads to a pharynx which leads to the gastrovascular cavity.
(2) mesenteries (membranes) that bear cnidocytes and gonads on their free edges divides their gastrovascular cavity.
(3) the mesoglea contains amoeboid mesenchyme cells.
